Please read our refund and return policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions for refunds, returns, and exchanges. This policy is designed to provide clarity and ensure a positive shopping experience for you. 

1. Return/Exchange/Refund Timeline

We offer a transparent and customer-friendly return/exchange/refund timeline. Returns or exchanges are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase. We believe this timeframe strikes a balance between allowing you sufficient time to evaluate your purchase while also ensuring a fair policy for our business. 

2. Acceptable Item Conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be in its original condition, including all tags and packaging (if applicable). Please note that certain items may have specific conditions for return due to their nature, and these conditions will be clearly communicated on the product page.

3. Refund and Shipping Charges

We understand the importance of transparent and fair refund and shipping charges. Our policy aims to be reasonable. We offer flat-rate shipping on returns, which means you won’t have to worry about additional shipping costs when returning items. 

For refunds, we offer the following options:

Replacement/Exchange: We’ll replace the item with an item of equal or lesser value as per your preference, subject to availability.

Money Refund: We’ll return the cost of the item to the original payment method used for the purchase.

  • Full Refund: If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll issue a full refund.
  • Partial Refund: In some cases, a partial refund may be provided if only part of the order is returned.
  • Line-Item Refund: For items that are part of a larger order, we may issue a refund for the specific item returned.
  • Store Credit: You can choose to receive store credit, which can be used on any future purchases with us.

4. Items Eligible for Refund/Return/Exchange

While we strive to accommodate such requests, please note that not all items on our website are eligible for exchange, refund, or return. The following categories of products are generally not eligible for the same:

  • Custom/Personalized Products: Items that have been specifically customized or personalized for the customer.
  • Products Sold as Part of Sets/Bundles: Items sold as part of a set or bundle, where individual items may not be eligible for exchange. 

5. Refundable Items List

To provide you with a clear understanding of the products that qualify for refunds, we maintain a list of refundable items. This list simplifies the process ensuring that you can easily identify items eligible for refunds. You can find the refundable items list here: 

  • Canvas prints from images within our standard inventory availability at time of purchase (custom prints regardless of media, or any custom item or media other than what is offered in our standard online shop at time of purchase, are not eligible for refunds).

6. Non-Refundable Items List

We also maintain a comprehensive list of non-refundable items to ensure transparency and clarity. This list can be found here: 

Custom prints: Prints on any media, that are not standard images or layouts within current online inventory.

Custom items: Any item not offered in our standard online shop at time of purchase, including custom media.

Custom Media: Any item printed onto a media that is not part of our standard online availability on our shop at time of purchase. Any item printed onto custom media is considered a custom item.

Original art/sculture: No original “one of a kind” piece is refundable through our online store. If you have received an original piece directly from Stranded on Earth, and there are any issues with it whatsoever, please use the “contact us” tab to reach out to us directly. We will do what we can to make sure you are happy with your original art!

7. Return & Refund Procedure

Upon your refund/return request, you will receive an email with instructions on how to return your item/s. Please follow the instructions be sure to keep your order # and tracking info for your records. If you do not receive an email with return instructions within 24 hours of your request, please contact us at help@strandedonearth.net. Refunds/Exchanges will not be issued until returned item/s is received by Stranded on Earth.
